9800Pro Vs 9800XT, any REAL difference?

I would go with 9800PRO. Many will hit 9800XT speeds stock very easily.

yeah, its not a drastic diff. anyways even when the PRO is at stock speeds vs. XT speeds

Plus, that 9800XT cooler is just so ass-ugly

the 9800xt is the best card so if you have the money then buy it
if you dont then get a 9800 pro most will o/c to 9800xt but the xt o/c just as well
speed costs money how fast do you want to go?

get a sapphire 9800 pro 256mb. they use the r360 core, and there about $150 cheaper. Then u could throw on some better cooling and easily OC it past XT speeds.

i gotta ask...

can´t you just wait 2 weeks?

playing the waiting game is dumb. odds are that we might get an announcement in 2 weeks, then another month before cards show up.

My 9800 Pro does XT speeds easy! So yeah grab the 9800 Pro.. only difference would be the 128 MB less ram..

and if you want to shell 100 or so more bucks for a 9800 Pro 256 MB then get the sapphire one for 310 bucks from newegg.com coz that shit is actually a 9800XT flashed to 9800 Pro speeds..

p.s. I did not read where you are from so if you are not from US ignore the newegg.com reference!
