9800 xt cooling solution

I was wondering how good is the hercules stock cooling on the 9800 xt? I have a gpu waterblock, but im considering taking the video card out of the watercooling to run the cpu cooler. Also, would it be more effective to cool the ram with OCZ BGA Ramsinks?
 
if ur taking off the waterblock then consider getting the VGA silencer, its pretty cheap and it should cool quite effieciently
