Yeah I have a 9800 pro and my fan stopped spinning. My bro and I took it off and decided we need a new one. The heatsink is still on but obviously I need the fan. Does anyone know where I can get a fan that will hook up to my 9800 pro?

This fan works great (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16835186110), but read the reviews. There are a few that didn't have good luck, but I also suspect their ability to install a new fan.

I have one running on my 9800Pro 256 and it works beautifully, and has been running strong for a year already (OC'd too!).

Hope that helps.

heh.. I'm still waiting for my 9800 pro to die after all the abuse I put the thing thru. I know theres something big wrong with it because I get artifacts in all new games with the recommanded games lol.. Going on 2 years and it still hasnt died. I'm just waiting for it to caught fire so I have a reason to finilly build a new computer.

alright well i just got a new heat sink from a local fry's electronics and now i can actuallyr un my pc with my case closed...but my screen is all glitchy.
Ex. When I run movies, there are green bars running through and stuff.
Same with video games....
whats the problem now?

Umm you just slapped a heatsink on it? You need to purchase a proper heatsink & fan from NewEgg or another e-tailer. It's gotta have a fan bro. For $30+shipping you could get the Zalman VF-700Cu. That cooler is very very effective.

nono no..the heatsink came with a fan and thermal paste, its on there, spininng and stuff...
but its still all glitchy
