In Powerstrip it shows that my Ati 9800 pro is set for 248 latency. What sound my latency for this be set to? I'm asking this because I'm experiencing studdering graphics and I beleive that the latency is causing it. Any ideas on what my latency should be at?

i'm running 64 right now. 32 - 64 - 80 - seem to be about where it should be.

At the bottom right there is a checked part saying READ ONLY. Uncheck that and then go for it. GL

If you look at the help for this field it reads:

"Latency: Shows the maximum number of PCI clock cycles held by device for bus master burst accesses. This value can be safely altered in real-time, and may help to resolve some conflicts with, eg., audio cards.

This does not seem to be latency in the sense of lower being better, such as for memory, but rather the higher would be better for the card, since it will hold that many cycles for a burst access.
