9800 Pro 256 bit?

Are you speaking of the memory bus width? Or amount of RAM on the card which would be measured in megabytes? All 9800 Pro cards have a 256 bit wide memory bus.
 
If you are talking about the amount of RAM, it should tell you in the ATI control panel.
 
come on guys, when i say bit i mean bit!

So all the retails were all 256 bit? thats what mine is.. a retail.. so 256 it is?!

No there were some retail 128bit ones.

look at the pics of the ones on Newegg.. it is fairly obvious which is which..

hint: memory.. L shaped = 256bit.
