9800 NP Woes...

Does anyone think its worth it to upgrade from my 9800 NP to a new 6800 or X800? Or should I wait until the next gen.. the scores for the 6800U are good in Doom 3, but in a year it will be showing low scores like all the rest.
 
I would flash it to the pro bios and OC from there, thats what i did. The 9800p ran doom 3 fine in the benches i saw, so no worries there unless your a fps/graphics whore. ;)
 
Well, I have the 9800np and I got to say its a very good card. Now, I have played the Doom 3 beta that was leaked and it gets pretty damn good fps in high quality mode at 1280*1024 res. But my next card will definetly be the x800. Granted, its not as good as the 6800 in Doom 3 but then again I want the x800 for HL2. If I was you I would wait until HL2 comes out and also Doom 3 and see what performance you get. If not satisfactory then go for the x800:D
