how do i fix the 60hz refresh rate on a ati videocard. i want to set it to 75hz so that in cs i get 75hz (vertical sync ON) i already did the registry tweak so that the only refresh rate available is 75hz...yes my monitor supports that refresh rate....if this was a nvidia card i would be set and ready to go...but i went to cs and stil showed a lock 60fps instead of 75fps.....how do i fix this? windows xp is already locked on 75hz for my monitor refresh rate because of the registry tweak i did...but ati won't recongnize it ...still sees it as 60hz thus i only get 60fps in cs

You try the refresh rate override option in the ati control panel? Just be warned though that whatever refresh rate you choose will be forced on all resolutions. I leave mine at 85hz cause that's enough for me and my monitor can only handle 85hz at 1600X1200. It can handle higher refresh rates at lower res, but I'm too lazy to switch all the time and 85hz is perfect for me.
