9700PRO fan replacement help

hi all
the fan on my good'ol 9700pro makes really scary noises - it's been doing so for quite some time now, but it's gotten so bad recently i'm gonna get a new cooler. i think i'm going to get the arctic silencer1, so if any has bad experiences with it i'd be glad if you could give me advice.
 
I replaced my stock R9700Pro cooling with a Arctic Silencer Rev 3 and you should too. They can be had for like $9-15 US and they still cool great and are alot quiter.

Ditto the original Arctic silencer rev 3. Works great, its cooler than the stock and quieter too. I got mine for $18Cdn (about $14US)
