Hi All,

Not that good with Vid cards so I am hoping one of you can help. I currently have an ATI9700 Pro on an Asus A7N8x (Current BIOS and ATI Drivers (6.14.10.6430) Installed). I have 8x and fast write enabled in the BIOS. When I look at the settings for the card it shows that no AGP acceleration is being used. Any ideas on what i am missing?

Thanks!

Thank you for the reply. I am using the latest BIOS and drivers for the chipset....am I missing something?

I remember reading in the Omega drivers I downloaded for my 9800 PRO that fast writes were turned off by default because they caused problems for alot of people. This led me to turn it off in the BIOS also. I haven't had any problems, but then again I've never run with it on. Have you run any benchmarks or games to see if you're getting good performance or not?

I ran 3dMark03 yesterday....got just under 5000 :-/

I agree....just bummed that according to the ATI utilities there is no AGP acceleration being used...
