i was thinking of flashing the bios of my 9600np to like the 9800 bios.

do you guys think this would be a good move/bad move? and what kind of results should i see should i decide to do it?

that will never work

they're 2 totaly different cores

the best you could do is either...

1.) try to overclock to respectable speeds

-or-

2.) flash to a 9600 pro
 
The 9800Pro BIOS? You're nuts if you want to do so, the cores are completely different and have different functionality. On the other hand, you can try flashing to a 9600Pro or 9600XT
