Alright, what can I use to overclock my 9600 xt on windows ME? Please do not say radclocker, I tried it and it was nothing short of a gong show. Is there any alternative programs? or am I stuck with stupid overdrive?

alright... Im sure you get a million of these questions from newb folk like me, and this may be in the wrong forum or whatever but come on, gimme some help here lol.

I use to use radlinker but now I use W1zzard's tool. the best I believe.

ahh, but I have win ME, and I believe w1zzards tool is not compatable with 9x ME systems

I'd say worst comes to worst, probably Power Strip. Though Radlinker is much much more reliable and always boots itself fine, even overclocked.

ive tried everything to overclock my 9200 (locked), powerstrip is the only program that i know of that can work for me

alright... now I tried out rage3d overclocking tool and so far I am concerned. I got the core speed as high as I can go (like, the program wont let me go higher than 576.00) and no artifacts. I got my memory clocked at 346.50 and no artifacts... Is it possible that rage3d is doing absolutely nothing?

if that is a possibility I will try powerstrip.

that's cute man that is real cute.

My comp originally had 2000 NT on it, but somehow one vital file got corrupted, and I had to reinstall windows... easy right?

well my boot disk only had ME on it, so now I am stuck with it. I am too cheap to pick up xp! I could barely muster up the dough for my card lol :p. so let us help ou t poor zebrahead with OC tool suggestions instead of OS comments, unless you have a way I can pick up XP without lightening my wallet lol.

any "warez" site will have your copy of XP. Whether or not you want to go that route is your choice. But I have seen copies of XP Pro on the internet for like $50...but they are the "OEM" versions that come with bundled machines...they just take the cd's out of the bundle and sell it seperate. Same os, different price.

thanks. I am a lil bit nervous about using warez stuff though, Is it possible to really screwball anything by upgrading using a DL'd pirated version of XP?
