Who has the lastest Pentium Extreme Edition 955 CPU and what do you think
of it?
Plus I was shocked of the price in Australia of $1599  as I was going to
upgrade soon

I haven't found them available yet . Have you come across one . I am in the middle of a build for a customer that wants 1 its the only part i don't have.

I am considering one for Hal but undecided . But if I can get his machine stable @4.7.... I will problely play with it . As I am an Intel fan . Having a gamer that AMD cann't touch appeals to me very much.

Yes you can find them in Australia at

and a few other placess. Hope that helps

After seeing BitchBreakers 920, I don't see any reason (performance gains etc..) in going with the 955. The 920 should have no problems clocking that high on air. For non overclockers I guess the chip could be a good option, i'd rather buy a ford festiva and run it off a cliff for the price though.
