What type of driver did you have in mind, if not the latest Catalyst? What you get at ATI is the same type of driver you get from the CD, only more current. Depending on your situation, you'll probably want the 3.10 set.

The other kind of driver that comes immediately to mind is for your mobo's AGP, but that wouldn't come on your Radeon CD so nevermind for now.

First thing you do if you're getting "all kinds of texture problems" is return the clocks to stock and retest. If that doesn't fix anything then come on back with more detail and we'll hit the issue from another angle.

Oh, and to answer your original question, I have no idea where you could d/l an image of the install CD. Can't think of a good reason to do that anyway, since I never use them to begin with.

Dude, I thought I was the only one.

At around Cat 3.7 or 3.8, I started seeing little textures at the bottom of the screen. I thought my vid card was dying, I upgraded again to the 3.10's, but same problem. So I returned to the version that came with mine, and the problem went away.

Everything is at stock speeds, had never been overclocked, I thought it might be a temp problem, but it didn't seem to be. The original drivers work great.

So I don't know. Anyway, let me see if I can find my disk and make an image of it, give me a few days.

the problem is still there at stock speeds.

could it be a dirctx problem or somthing

YOu up do DX9?...Did it start after that?

I have to stick to 3.6 Cats or else I get artifacts everywhere. It's not that big of a deal cause I can play all my games fine with the 3.6's. Call of Duty, Max Payne 2, NFS Underground, BF1942 and others no problem. Mines a Visiontek 9500 pro @ 346/310. That's the best I could get with the 3.3 ram.

That's really weird...Try older Catalyst drivers and see if you still have problems...

If you're running stock cooling, then it just might be. That's a pretty hefty o/c and would tend to shorten the life of the card. How old is it?

iv got a stock amd cooler with a 6000rpm fan on it. i can get up to 440ish on the core but it will lock up if i dont have my vmod on it
