Hmmm, haven't seen any pictures of the SS holddown. Have you tried emailing DD to see if they will send you a snap shot?
 
I think you might be a little confused on what those parts are.
There are no replacement pieces yet for the acrylic on the DD NV-68. There are plans for a delrin/acetal version, but they aren't out yet, and won't help your issue of clearance.
That stainless-steel kit is the exact same thing you get when you buy the card. It's just 4 all-threads, 8 washers, and 4 thumbscrews.
