930SB Line Problem (not app. grill)

I've had this monitor just a few days, received it Friday. I expected the app. grill lines, and after about a day or so, I got over them. Last night though, I just noticed some vertical lines. There are about 3-4 "pronounced" ones, intersecting perpendicular with the lower app. grill line at the center of the screen. They don't run the entire length of the screen, just a few inches.

I don't really notice them that much. They are about as prominent as the app. grill lines themself. Only notice them against a white background.

It's just wierd though, I swear they weren't there a couple days ago, I inspected the monitor very carefully upon arrival.

Anyone else ever seen this? Should I exchange it? I really like this monitor otherwise. Except for the fact that when the monitor goes into standby or has no signal going to it, the screen turns bright white, itstead of just a blank black screen...

Yeah, but that white screen seems to be the least of my problems right now. I just don't like those little vertical lines.....bad luck w/ monitors lately. I suppose I'll give it at least a week before I do anything about it.

What you need to do it set it to te white screen in naviset. Turn the brightness up all the way. let it sit for 1 hr. The monitor will get really hot. Then i wnat you to pat or hit the monitor on all the sides. Tap it a few times and see if it loosens it.

if not Just call tech support and they will send you another one

and ive been told to do the tapping precedure my NEc/Mitsubishi tech support before, so dont worry about it
