Ok well I'm in need of a 3rd HD so I can store data on it.

It will be mainly MS WORD documents and that but whats nice is the HD is a Western Digital 80 GB 7200 RPM with 8 mb cache :D So, I'm thinking of buying it finally and an external floppy drive.

This will equal about 70 total with the HD and External Floppy.

HD 39.99 New. External floppy drive 39.99......

So I think thats what I'll finally buy and not clutter the forums with external or internal hd anymore.

Thoughts???

I doubt you'd ever fill an 80GB drive with MS word docs...

Where are you getting that HD for 39.99?

I think he's getting it from Outpost.com

there is a WD 800JB that cost 34.99 after rebates...

I just ordered one last night :)

generally considered a very robust HDD
I have 12 WD400BBs (the 40GB 2mb) all over three years old (the warranty)
which where that HDDs basic predecessor in design
and goin strong, its considered a fine workhorse of a HDD (the 80)
and was no slouch in the performance field either (for its time)
