Remember just a few years ago, they (yep the proverbial "they") said it would be impossible to create drive platters with magnetic domains dense enough to create a 10gig drive. Now just a few years later we are on the virge of 1 terrabyte. Literally a hungred times bigger in just a few years. Say 10 years from now, if the trend continues, we will be using 100 terrabyte drives. Or even bigger......

It's not as far off as you think. This industry tends to be exponential
