7870 or 7950

I've been holding out for Kepler but nobody knows when it is coming so am thinking of just going for a new card now. Currently I have a 5870 and was thinking of getting either a 7870 or 7950. Anyone have an idea on how much the 7950 and 7870 compare? Im thinking an upgrade to a 7870 from a 5870 may not be too great of an upgrade.

I've got two 6950s and there is no silver bullet for me. Seems like 7870 isn't much of an upgrade and 7950s are MADD expensive. fml

Ok, so here's what I'm seeing:
7970 kicks ass. $550 is a mint, but it's the top dog card so it's tough to complain.
7950 has 12.5% less shaders, and 13.5% slower core speed, costs $100 (18%) less.
7870 has 22.4% less shaders than the 7950 but 18.8% faster core speed, and costs $150 (33%) less than the 7950.
I paid $222 ($78 less than the proposed 7870 msrp) for my 6950 2gb a year ago. It unlocked to 1536 shaders, and does 950mhz core @1.175v

These numbers are really making me regret ordering a 7950. It was supposed to get here today...but UPS sucks so I'm sitting here debating how badly I got ripped off, instead of OCing my new card. What I'm really thinking is that with the sort of ripoff train AMD is running with the 7xxx series, I might do well to just refuse delivery and wait for Kepler to come out.
