Hi,
Until about 3 weeks ago I had been using thiscard in my computer. The card died and was sent back for an RMA.
In the meanwhile I began using 2 Radeon 4850's with crossfire.
The motherboard I am using is an ASRock H77M.
Today I received my replacement card (here).
I removed the older cards drivers and attempted to get the new card to work. Unfortunately I could not get a video signal when the card was in the main PCIe 3.0 slot.
I know that the slot is working, as I was using it only minutes before.
I didn't think much of it as the performance was still a major boost over the 2x4850, but after trying to play some of the games I had been playing before my first card died I noticed stuttering and lag that I had never seen before.
My questions are:
Is there some setting i'm overlooking in the Bios or something? Did using the 2x4850 change some setting that would cause my main slot not to output any video?
Is this what could be causing my performance to suffer?
Any insight would be wonderful before I get on the phone with Diamond again.
