I got this card as an upgrade for my nephews old PC, but we ended up just building him a new pc instead. Its a 7800GS AGP and I believe its a G71 core which means it can pretty easily be volt modded to 1.5v from 1.1v. I want to do this just for fun. I'm planning on modifying an extra Zalman v700cu-led to put on it, but I'm not sure how I should cool the bridge chip. Will thermal tape be enough to hold a ram sink on it? I have article silver epoxy, but I'm not sure I should use it on the bridge chip.

I dont think theres really any right way to do it.

the AS epoxy would probably work, but you would never be able to get it off, without possible damage to teh chip, so make sure you want to do this before you go that route.

I dont think thermal tape will hold it on, especially if that side is going to be upside down in your case. If it was on the top, it would probably be fine, but the force of gravity is not on your side in this case.
