I have a PNY 6800GT. I have quite a few problems. Biggest one being my temps, i idle at 65C and this is using 61.77, 69.77, 69.93 and so on. My other problem is that when I tried to OC and had to do the testing, it passed any clocks given (EX, 550/1.5) and using coolbits auto-detect feature it does the same thing, the blue bar just goest to the end, than starts again, same thing forever. What is going on? This is very un-usual.
 
During the auto-detect the progress bar may complete and start over multiple times. Just wait, and it will eventually finish. That idle temp isn't too bad. I'd say that high 50s low 60s is probably pretty average. Check that you have proper airflow through your case.
 
I have about the same temps.

Idle: ~63C GPU
Load: ~mid 70sC GPU

Try the 71.84's.
 
Ok than I guess its because I had a 6800OC before and it idled at 50 so I was speculating the same thing here.
