6800gt Oc

yo i just got this awesome card!

but i had a look around on the user panel right for this overclocking screen :

but i cant find it o.0

can somebody tell me where it is please


also, does anybody know how you are supposed to register for warranty with BFG?

you need to install Coolbits 2.0 to have that come up. Do a search on google and im sure you will find a few sites who have it. I believe I got it at guru3d.com. Then again the BFG software may come with that overclocker

Right click desk top, click on properties, click on settings tab, click on advanced, click on the 6800GT tab at the top I think it is.. then the menu should scroll to the side where you will see clock frequency or overclocking... cant remember exactly what it says.

Warranties are our friends and BFG warranties are extra nifty! If you do need to send your card to them for some reason, make sure to clock it back to normal and to install non-beta drivers.

That way if they test your card to see if you have voided the warranty they should not find anything they shouldn't.

as long as you dont flash your bios they shouldnt be able to find anything, am I right? cool bits does a software overclock meaning nothing is modified in the cards firmware. Is this correct?

well i wasn't intending to overclock it anyway, i just wanted to know how to and where the window was to do it for future reference

as for the warranty, do i not need to register it with a serial or whatever? or do i just send it to them after it breaks?
