I ran into a small problem which i did not expect hehe. The 6800 GTO has another pci cover slot attached to the one it's self. And i'm tryin to install a Nv5 silencer... anyone got any tips on how to Remove the extra pci slot cover?

kind of looks like this

dude i just got the same card, thought about the silencer but thought it best to leave the card alone, i guess you could cut it off with something but i would leave it as it is. By the way where did you get yout GTO?? Where did you get the drivers??

came with my dell 8400, using drivers 67.0 i think, and i have all pipelines opened and oc'd to 400/1000

actually im pretty sure you can unscrew the back bracket, and swap it with another one, problem is finding another one with 2 DVI holes ;)

Sweet card, and cooler!

Your best bet would probably to try and ebay the shield

I would just drill a bunch of holes in it. Maybe 2 rows of 1/4" or so, right where the exhaust from the silencer meets up.

Or you could just dremel out a square exhaust port to mate up with the silencer.
