i got a BFG 6800 GT oc, my drivers are 78.11 from guru3d and my problem seems everytime i watch a video on my window's media player 10, or power dvd or even nvdvd no video shows up only sound. i have all the proper codecs but still to no avail, i've tried 77.77 whql but still nothing, when i unistalled all my driver and left it like that i got my video back but i need the driver.. any help?

Try Disabling Hardware Acceleration in the options of the program.

This sounds more like a software issue than hardware.
 
Also you might want to check the "video overlay" and "color correction-->overlay"
tabs on the nvidia driver settings...

Be sure to do so while trying to see a video.

I had a problem where my videos all went white once I installed new drivers...
Hope It's something like this.

Try checking "vmr" in video overlay settings. That should fix it. This was a common problem with this driver set.
 
yup i clicked VMR and problem solved thanks guys quick responses gotta love these boards.
