6700k died while deliding, upgrade to 7700k or do full system upgrade?

well, I was trying to delid my 6700k and got it cracked . Now should I replace CPU with 7700k or 6700k OR do switch to Ryzen build? Because 7700k even used one costs same as a good 3rd gen Ryzen CPU. So I am thinking of getting rid of Z170 build and buy new Ryzen CPU and Motherboard. What would You guys suggest?

Just me but id get 7700k because it's a drop in upgrading.
But for you I'd upgrade. Because your likely still have to delid the 7700k.

Depends. If you are mainly gaming Ryzen will have similar performance to a 7700k, just buy one already delidded
