Is there such thing as an adapter or something that could turn a 32 bit PCI slot to a 64 bit? Or will I definitely need to get a board that has 64 bit PCI slots. It's just that 64 bit PCI motherboards are so limited in selection that just normal boards.

No adapters are available. Most 64bit pci x scsi boards I know of though can fit in regular pci slots but only run at 32bit.

yeah I tried sticking the 64 bit scsi card into the 32 bit it just sat there at boot time.

Yea, should work fine in 32bit mode. If it isn't showing up at all then it might be defective.
