Ok...so I bought a set of 6.1 Logitech speakers for my PC today ...so I get them all plugged in nice and simple...but then I have to plug them into my Audigy card.
There are 3 speaker plugs for the soundcard. Orange, green and black. The instructions say to just plug them into the colour coded jacks on the card. Trouble is, on the old Audigy Gamer cards, the jacks aren't colour coded.
So I just started trying different configurations of plugs / jacks. I can only get sound out of 2 of the 6 speakers at a time no matter what I try.
I went to both the Creative and Logitech websites for some clues, but I'm just a simpleton when it comes to this stuff...anyone have any hints?
Oh...I also went to the Control Panel and switched it from Quadraphonic speakers to 5.1 Surround and made sure the Digital Output only box was unchecked.
