5tb 105 bucks

After my 1 and only dealing with Toshiba RMA, I will never buy a Toshiba drive.
Took 10 weeks after they got my drive to issue a pro-rated Visa Gift card.

I have this very drive (purchased at Microcenter some time ago), and I have had no issues with it. It's a noisy drive, but otherwise performs just fine.

Considering its a "gaming" "performance" drive it wouldn't be surprising if its loud.

my 5tb 7200 rpm X300 is kicking fine. However for i've seen 8TB ironwolfs/pros 7200 rpms for $166 shipped.

The 6TB version is louder than what I have become used to. Louder than my WD black 2TB drive or my Toshiba 3TB. First one I got had a clicking sound ever 4-5 seconds. Sent it back (Dell on ebay) and got a replacement. Quieter, but still a bit loud. Clicking is gone. I wouldn't like to use it 24/7 in a PC I use frequently as I like low noise. I merely use it as a back up drive.

Clicking would drive me nuts
