5970 Temp Question

Im currently runin a 360 rad with a loop of a I7 940 oced to 3.8 and a XFX black edition 5970 with a bitspower block. Im currently getting temps of 50+ Idle and mid to high 60's with only few minutes of gaming. Are these normal temps? i cant seem to find posts of other users using this block or any other block in general with temp readings. I would appreciate any links to some posts or what other people are getting. thanks :p
 
I currently have a i7 920 @4.1 and 5970 watercooled. I would say depending on your ambient temps. I maxed 50 c in furmark but that was with 24c ambient. When my room gets in early 30c ambient I am in the high 50's. And that is with mid rpm fans on rads
 
yea thats realll low compared to my temps. i dont know whats up. I reseated the card on the block and it looks like its flat on the block with contact.

Not sure really what to say about that.... your cpu should be suffering more then you gpu in that loop. I currently have a 240 rad and a 120 rad my cpu only needs 1.218v to get a stable 4.1 overclock and that gets into the high 60s but my gpu always stays in low 50s and thats with an overclock to 1.2v
 
I'm using a rev 2 Koolance block on dual 5970s, and they never get in the 60s. Under heavy load they're in the 50s, and during gaming mostly in the high 40s.

I have 5 x 120mm radiators total, and my chipset and CPU are all on the same loop.
