5970 buzzing

Got my 5970 in today and am having a few issues with it.

When the card goes into anythign that taxes it like 3dmark06, counterstrike, etc it buzzes like the capacitors are screaming or something. In 2d surfing the web its pretty quiet but if i scroll a lot or do a lot on the screen I can hear it coming out of the card.

Any ideas?

This happens at random to any card nvidia or ati. The only way for this buzz to go away permanently is solid state capacitors. There is only one gpu out on the market (gtx295 asus mars) that uses them. You could RMA the card and get one that doesn't whine or get one that does again but all the manufacturers will tell you it's normal.

Really? Thats pretty crappy.

This is the first time this has happened to me. I've had a couple of 4870x2s, a couple of 4890s, 8800s, etc. This one is a screamer, my wife says she can hear it in the living room from the office if the TV is off.

My GTX 285 in SLi used to buzz in anything that's at extreme FPS,
Like at the begining of crysis when itw as showing the logos etc, and was running at 4000fps it would buzz/squeel
