I have the following:

ABIT KV8-MAX3
Athlon64 3000+ (not oc'd)
512mb Corsair XMS PC3500
2xWD 36gb Raptors
2xSeagate Cheetahs
Antec TrueControl 550

I had a 5600 Ultra in there but realized that was a stupid buy going from a GF4 4600. So I bought a 5900 Ultra popped it in there last night. I could not get a video signal, the computer would boot up but it wouldn't display anything. I then hooked up a "fan" connector (Antec has two types of molex power connectors, I guess one gives less power then the other) it booted up in Windows and told me it wasn't getting enough power and then the screen looked like a crashed old Dos CGA game.

Plugging the regular connector back in it goes back to not having any video signal.

Any ideas?

Normally I would suspect a power supply issue but...the one in your sig should be more than enough for what you have running. Could be a bad card?

Try a different plug. That's about all I can think of.
I think I've seen a couple reports of issues when there are too many devices attached to a single line out of the PSU. A defective plug could also cause a problem.
