5200 overclocked

ok i havea bfg 5200 overclocked default core is 250 but bfg sets it to 280 and i set it to 300 and the memory speed is 450 256megs so 300 and 450 what card runs at that normaly like a 5900 or what? and how do i tell the temp of my g-card?
 
um you cant really compair a overclocked 5200 to anything maybe a 5200ultra? your going to need a temp probe to find out the temp of your VIDEO CARD not g-card there is no gang.
 
Lol, you'd just need to add another 175Mhz to that core and more than double the RAM speed I believe. Then add all the core features too. Plus I dont believe a 5200 has a thermal probe so the temp monitoring is a no go.
 
My fx5200 is OCed with coolbits. It runs fine as long as the fan stays clean. The smallest amount of cat-hair/dust and it shuts down. I ran " detect optimal settings" and its fine.

Sry bro, but that card is so (technologically) crippled to begin with that no matter how much you OC it.....it's still gonna perform like a 5200....you're a far FAR ways from being able to compare it to even a 5600.

FX5200 doesn't have a temp probe on-die so the only way you're gonna get any kind of temp readings is by using a manually placed temperature sensor...either on the back of teh card on the other side of the GPU....or if possible, between the silver shim and the GPU itself...as close as youcan get it, without hindering contact between the core and the heatsink.
