just installed C 5.12 and everytime my comp starts I get a cli.exe failed to load error and I can't get into the control panel... how to fix???
 
What version of .Net framework do you have installed? The 5.12s need 1.1 to work. They will not work 2.0. If you do have 1.1 and it still does not load. Do you have NOD32 AV? If so you have to put CLI.exe as a exclusion for IMON.

I'm not entirely sure this is always the case. I have .net framework 2.0 and Catalyst 5.12 and I haven't seen any errors, or anything to indicate anything is wrong...
 
I'm using 2.0 and uninstalled 1.1 for good measure and haven't experienced any problems. I do know of one or two cases with 5.12 and they all used .net framework 2.0
