is there a 5.1 surround sound sytem program where u can set the loud ness of each speaker and stuff?
 
Windows's volume control has sliders for Front/Back/Center/Subwoofer...

Foobar2K is nice for music playback, there's a plugin you can hunt up called "channel mixer" that will upscale stereo music to use up to 6 channels of speakers.

Whatever control software came with your sound controller (onboard or off) likely has further configuration options.
