sometimes my screen will go black for a second then return back to normal... I haven't had this issue until yesterday, and I've had my card since they were released.

I've tried installing past drivers as well as 8.11 beta drivers, but get the same thing. Temperatures are fine as I keep the fan on my card at about 60%.

Also I've noticed that this doesn't happen in safe mode, which makes me think it's a software or driver issue, but I've tried different drivers so idk.........
 
Mine does flicker when it is on the point of restarting my system due to overheating. The flicker is more frequent when it gets around the 80C mark. And it is a clear sign that in the next 3-4minutes i will get a restart :D.
 
well my video card rarely goes over 60c and I never get any crashes or lock ups. just random screen screen blackouts, like when you change resolution.
 
Do you hear the fan speed spin up and sound like an airplane taking off? When my card hits 100C the screen flickers and the fan hits 100% speed. I find that anything under about 80% fan speed will make my card overheat, while setting it to auto makes it less noisy and there is no such heat problem (weird, need to check a few more times).
