450VX enough?

I went to my local computer shop yesterday to pick up the Corsair 450VX, The guy working there said it isn't enough to power up my system or a 8800 GTS 640 MB if I upgrade to one. He recommended to get the 520 version or the 550. Should I just get the 550 or is 450 just fine?
 
If the Radimax can do it then the Corsair can do it and more.
