A few months back I added some UV CCFL's to my case. I put two 12" and two 4". It looked great. A few weeks later, the inverter the 4" were pluged into fried. I checked my wiring to make sure it wasn't human error and the wiring looked fine. I had another inverter (same brand although I don't remember the name) as a spare that I put in to get the 4" back up again and it's been fine for months.
Tonight, the inverter the 4" were plugged into fried again. The same exact part fried on both inverters. The button caps right infront of each output plug.
Has anyone else experienced this with 4" CCFL's? I'm starting to wonder if maybe inverters were not designed for 4" CCFL's but companies are making the kits anyway. Does anyone know of a good quality 4" dual UV CCFL kit? I purchased my 4" kits from FrozenCPU so whatever brand their 4" kits are is what these kits were.
