1. seems you'll need GPT for w7 users to make 3TB work yes for single sata/sas connections? will they work as JBOD on raid controllers?
2. also seems to be hw-issues w/lots of raid controllers to make 3TB work? update firmware?
3. w/all these issues... should i simply wait it out and upgrade my raid6 PCIe card when the new 6Gbps versions come out with 'native' support for reading 3+TB drives?
i have an older 12port areca 1230 i think. sticking w/2TB for the time being.
