Dunno whats going on but whenever the benchmark gets to sound test 3 the whole thing crashes and an error msg comes up.....if i cancel the error i still get a score but I can't post it. Anyone else had this prob? I'll run the test again in the morning and post the error msg to see if anyone can help....

I redownloaded the latest build and the prob was the same btw.

EDIT - The error msg is 'FMOD error in FSOUND.setvolume : An invalid parameter was passed to this function.'

Well not being able to post it is odd, but thats a fairly normal error if you have an older audigy and winxp (I know quite a few people who get that error, myself included), because Creative consists of assholes who don't support their "legacy" products.

Advise is to buy a new sound card then lol

I did finally get to submit. At last.

In control panel->sounds and audio device properties->volume(speaker settings)->advanced->performance turn down the hardware acceleration to emulation or basic, and try again.
Creative are rubbish unfortunately, but there's no competition when it comes to sound in games at the moment so they can continue to do what they want and there's nothing we can do about it :-(

Good, in the future just hit escape after nature during the first CPU test...you won't get a cpu score but you'll still get your full 3dmark03 score...and submitting shouldn't be a problem.
