Anyone know why, with my system (below), that the tests which look like a repeat the "sea-dragon blimp" test and the second "space battle" would drop my frame rates down to 4-5 fps?

This was my first time running the '05 benchmark (previously no DX-9 compliant card) and I would not have expected to see ANYTHING resembling 4 FPS.

Just installed my 6800... I am running the stock 6693 drivers that came with my card.

(please don't take this as an opportunity to flame 3dMark - I know the criticisms, rather I want to know if my results are normal or if there is a problem).

That's normal.
Happened to me too when I first used " 05 " and I thought " what's wrong " ?
I Think it might be 05's cpu test that runs the second time real slow.
Anyway, just let it finish and note your gpu and cpu scores. :)
