I'm trying to get 3D acceleration working inside of Hyper-V. I know VMWare has a fix for it as well as Moka but I really dig Hyper-V and was wondering if if anyone has any experience with this and does Hyper-V even support doing this yet?
It doesn't. Even in other VMs the 3D accelerator is virtualized, so still no direct access to that hardware. 3D performance in the best ones (Fusion/Parallels on Mac) are lousy anyways.
Future Intel processors are supposed to allow better control of native hardware in VMs, but it doesn't look like that's going to solve the problem.
