37" westinghouse question....

Sorry, I asked this question in the westinghouse thread also but I fear it will never get answered since the thread is so large.

How much room is there between the desk and the bottom of the panel? I want to know how much room I have to stick a center channel speaker under the display. Normally I put the center channel on top of the CRT, but that won't work with an LCD....

My center channel is roughly 7.5" tall.

I am referring to the W3, btw.
 
Its about 4 inches but then the stand is directly centered so its almost no space.There actually is some room to place it on top unless you ave a pretty large CC.I have my Klipsch 5.1 center channel on top with no problem..Hope this helps..:)

Check back on the westinghouse thread. I posted a detailed answer there. BTW, the poster above is about 2" off.

Yup my mistake..I misread to the bottom of the panel as bottow of the casing..:cool:

so I have about 6"? If I found some sort of a stand to sit the display on top of then I could set the center channel under the display.
 
not to hijack your thread or anything but I also asked a question (2 times in that mega thread) and still havent gotten an answer.

does anybody know if a evga 7800gtx512 will be able to handle this monitor?

it should be fine in most games.
