ok heres the deal. I have a 3500+ oc'ed to 220x11. thats 2.420 ghz. anyway my idle/load temps are 34/43. i want to go a bit further but i know right now my ram is the problem. I have PMI 3200 ddr 1024 duel channel running 2-3-2-5 timings right now. its running 440 mhz and anything higher it will boot up and all but randomly will freeze my computer. I seem to remember reading somewhere that you can put the memory on like a 10/9 ratio. so if i clock my FSB at 228 or 2.5 ghz for the processor my mem is still only running at like 205 mhz. I would like info on maybe how to do this. I have an Asus a8v motherboard. i would like to keep the memory as close to the 220 as possible. but i would like to move the processor up some more.
any ideas?
oh and i forgot i hae an slk-948u heatsink with a 92mm 56cfm fan
