First off i'll admit i'm new to overclocking and don't know much about it.
I know my bios makes it childs play and i'm currently having fun tinkering with it.
I've read some articles and have a very basic knowledge of whats going on.
So on to the problem!

I cannot for the life of me get my 3400+ to get above 2500mhz.
I'm almost positive its a ram issue as well but maybe you guys can help me out here.
I'm currently using this:

I know its not a heat issue,I have 6 case fans+ http://xoxide.com/pipe101.html with a tornado on it.

With this type of setup what kind of overclock should I expect?
I want to squeeze at least 2.6 ghz out of it. Thats not asking to much is it?
Anyway I can get 2.5 ghz if I set the HTT to 230 and up the voltage on the cpu and ram a bit. But anything over that and my computer won't have it. Blue screen usually.

Can you guys give me some suggestions on settings for my ram? its at 2-3-3-6 1T atm
But if I wanna OC I have to go with 2.5-3-3-8 1T usually. Thanks for any help!!
At the very least point me to some good articles :)

Fake edit: Is that heatsink good? Or should I look for something better? I hear thermaltake is crap and I'm only getting 34 celsius with that heatsink+Tornado.. Should be a little bit lower i'm thinking? Thats with AS 3 btw,and yes I applied it right.
