Which is better? I can do 3x23" NECs by adding another 23" to my dual display setup or i guess I could sell off the NECs and just get one massive 30" monitor. The other factor is that the triple monitor stand will probably cost around $300 as well. So the triple 23 value would be roughly $1200, and a 30" display like the hp zr30w would also be around $1200. Opinions? My graphics setup would likely power either easily. But a triple display setup would give more 'peripheral' vision.

I have had 3 x 2209WA monitors in eyefinity and now I have a 30" Samsung and I prefer the single display. The bezels are to much for me to overcome. A 30" is nice for what I game and I could not be happier.

One thing nobody ever talks about with Eyefinity is monitor calibration. All three of my NEC EA231WMi's are different (one's dead on, one's noticably red, the other is very slightly red). Adjusting all of them to look even and uniform took a bit of work since you can't apply different profiles to each monitor.

That said, I love my Eyefinity setup. A 30" definitely won't be as immersive, but will be better for things such as photoshop.

oh hell go 3x 30" lol if you have the cash and the room on the desk that is.

i had 3x 22" and loved it so i went even bigger. if i had to choose 1 30" or 3 22" i think i would go with the 30" over all but still would need a 2nd monitor for odd stuff while working/playing

I have 3 2007FP and the HP LP3065. Now where do I game most of the time.....

In my 30" of'course. The bezel is an issue IMHO.

They both have their pros and cons. 30" is great for movies and games that don't do well in ultra-wide aspect ratios.

Eyefinity is great for multitasking and ultra-wide gaming where the bezels don't matter.

Right now I'm playing ME2 which you can't play in landscape, and as cool as it is operating in portrait at effectively 39" I'd rather play it on 30" w/o bezels since I can't do ultra-wide with it.

Overall I prefer the Eyefinity setup though, because I'm a heavy multitasker and the games that do work well with ultra-wide are sweet.

yeah i have to have 2 min so 3 is a no brainer really for me.

The bezel can be an issue but after a little time its like wearing glasses you forget its there kind of thing.

I really do need at least 2 monitors. I'm so used to it now. How do people work with just a single 30" though? It's so handy to go back and forth between 2 monitors.

Try using one and you will understand why. :D
Though, a few of the 30'' monitors owner have indeed bought more than one or two 2007fp in landscape with their 30'' monitor. :D

They use multiple 30'' monitors. Or one 30'' monitor and two 2007fp in landscape. :)
