Hey Everyone

I ran out of the 3 pin power plugs in my motherboad. I plan on getting this:

Since its split into 2 and both are gonna be used for some 80mm fans, would the power on it be lower then if it was on it solo?

Also would the fans be more powerful on a regular molex then these 3 pin connectors?

The fans will work just as well as they would normally, or using a 4-pin molex connector. That's assuming you don't have some monstrous fans that draw loads of power. What kind of fans are they? Actually, most motherboard 3-pin headers aren't rated to supply much current, so you may end up burning it out... Can you take the power from somewhere other than the board?
 
I could use the molex but the wires start to get all over the place. I'm using some silenx and panaflows, one vantec. They are all low dba fans that shouldnt draw too much power.

So is it recommended that I use molex?
 
I'd say use the molex connector. I'm planning on getting one custom made at performance-pcs , 2 3 pins connected to 1 4 pin molex.

I have always worried about burning out my headers and I also think it draws to much power across the board. I have always found it better to use a molex instead
