Hi all,
can you tell me how do you use three monitors?

It's a lot of monitors, how to use it, for what?

I think there is a general consensus that 3 monitors are best used for pr0n.

However, there are also things like widescreen gaming and running multiple apps.

it makes your penis grow one inch for every monitor after the first one

Gaming/Multimedia -

Eyefinity http://www.amd.com/us/products/technologies/ati-eyefinity-technology/Pages/eyefinity.aspx

Nvidia 3D Surround http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-surround-technology.html

There is also the traditional use for productivity reasons. I think this is rather self explanatory. You have more "screen real estate" over three monitors to use for applications. Also people tend to find it easier to manage applications over separate displays then on a single larger one (though this preference oriented).

Whatever you want man. So much space that I love. Video playing on one, browsing the internet on the other and playing some game in the middle.

In game = sex usually:D. Immersion is so much better, and the added FOV.

I watch TV in one monitor, have messenger, IE, and a couple working folders open in another, and what I am working on open in the last one.
Eyefinity for games using all three.
On games that don't work well with eyefinity, I might sometimes have a walkthrough open on one monitor, a map in another, while I game in the center one.

Three 27" here. It's awesome. Besides having a challenge finding 5760*1080 wallpaper, and having to tweak game settings to accommodate such massive size.... It's so awesome. Multiple what ever you want. Multi-tasking like a mad man. Screw tabs, open several browsers with several tabs each, im clients, media players, write a document in word, and play with excel at the same.

I have 2x VE276Q Asus.. mainly needed it to watch more than 2 markets at a time while I trade ..... will probably get a 3rd one eventually.

I have dual 24's and I will be adding a third here soon, you can never have too much desktop space.

I wouldn't mind having a 3rd monitor at work. I have a browser open at all times - its always maximixed and full of tabs (my max res = 1280x1040 :(). The second screen has my primary non-web based applications. I always have to switch back and forth between 2-3 apps (not including the browser), and one of the apps doesn't work well when its not maximized. I'd love a third so when I have to remote to other machines, I don't have to minimize everything else.

I try to resize windows so I can have multiple applications open on one screen - but I work better when I can dedicate 1 app per monitor. At home, I have wide screen monitors, so I can have 2 apps side by side if needed - but would love a third for everything else.

Minimizing sucks
