If I were to use this as a 2nd reservoir mounted horizontally on any one single line inside the red box. Would it fill totally or only about half way?

You should be able to trap some air in there if it's mounted horizontally. As far as your water level, it depends where your outlet is and how much air has to escape before it finds an equilibrium.

where did you find that res.. looks pretty nice... and i've been looking for 1 just like it

edit.. nvm figured out where you found it.. (btw.. its bad to link right of there web site)

now... any one know where i can get these in the US?

Conversion $ to Euro = mult x 1.3
+ shipping/handling

Probably cheaper to buy the Innovatek unit. But if you call Sharka Corp they can get you the same one you got a pic of. They have a shipment leaving Austria in a day or two so if you want it I suggest you call right away. :)

hi,
Why use a second reservoir, it will only decrease flowrate.
But if you wanted to mount it, it should be verticaly.

And this because of the air, air means bad flow. :(

But mounted verticaly your pump has to press about 50mBar more( from the looks of the reservoir)

You can take about 100mBar for each ascending meter.
Your pump should have specs telling what flow it produces BUT in relation to the pressure.

My pump has an flow of 2600litres/min!!!!!!!!!!!!!! at 0 metres.
But at 1,5 metres only 1000l/min
and after resistance of the CPU-,GPU-block,radiator, tubing,...
only 2.2litres/min rest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :(

GOOD PUMP IS EVERYTHING GOOD PUMP (then anything goes!!!) :D

i would consider eather of them.. and your right about the shipping and handeling it would make them about the same buy the time they got to the states... but i live in hawaii and that means tack on anought 30$ ... i dont know about you but im not paying 100$ for a plastic cilinder... now if it where 30$usd plus shipping.. that i might consider..
