2707 Confirmed

Looks to me like that article is based on the same old info - I don't think the 2707 is any more "confirmed" now than before.

"We got confirmation of this rumor earlier today..." the article is dated March 27 2006 so that means that they got confirmation today. That's about as new as you can get.
 
I just wish people just stop posting this kind of useless thread....it's been all over the forum...
 
Blah I was hoping to get this sooner. I guess the old 2005FPW will have to hold out until then.
 
Not to say I told you so, but I did. I never said October but I did say 4th Quarter of this year as it was said to me by Dell themselves allbeit the Pakistan branch or whatever foreign country they have outsourced to handle phone orders. Perhaps they weren't considered a reliable source of information. :p Guess you were all wrong! muahahaha.

It probably will but only when the 2707 is released. Even then, I couldn't see the price dropping any lower than their sale price ($250 off). My guess would be a $100 price drop.
 
I'm not sure I understand the need for the same resolution of the 2407 only larger pixels with a 3" larger screen.
 
And its gonna be infested with the same diseases we saw in 2407 revisions and the earlier 2405, as well as the 30 inch one.
