is there any compares with the 2600K at 4.5+g up against an i7 930 or something clocked at 4g?
 
pretty much they did a 6 core i7 oc'ed to 4 vs a 4.5 2600 they were pretty much neck in neck - I don't think there was a clear run away winner - in places where physical cpus count the 1000 6 core won but not by enough to be 750 more than the 2600k.
